Azerbaijan bans illegals from entering into marriage with its citizens

Foreigners living illegally in Azerbaijan are prohibited from entering into marriage with citizens of the country.

According to Report, President Ilham Aliyev approved a relevant amendment to the Family Code.

Thus, foreigners or stateless persons, one or both of whom are illegally living in the territory of the country, have been added to the list of persons who are not allowed to marry.
