The State Committee on Family, Women and Children Affairs has seen a 10% increase in appeals regarding domestic violence ascompared to the first half of last year, Bahar Muradova, the Chairperson of the State Committee, told a briefing on the results of the first half of 2023, Report informs.
“350 of the appeals were about the execution of court decisions, 225 about domestic violence, 129 about employment, 123 about obtaining various social benefits, assistance, and pensions, and 91 had to do with assistance in examination and treatment,” she stressed.
