Another group of Azerbaijani citizens is expected to be deported from the Federal Republic of Germany in the first ten days of June, Report informs, citing sources in the German migration authorities.
According to the sources, some Azerbaijani citizens, who live in North Rhine-Westphalia and have to leave the country upon the court decision, have been taken to facilities for deportees near the Dusseldorf airport.
Some of the Azerbaijanis have been living illegally in Germany, while others applied to the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees for refugee status between 2016 and 2019. They have been ordered to leave the country several times by administrative courts. However, instead of benefiting from the voluntary return programs offered by the International Organization for Migration, these individuals lived in Germany illegally.
This will be the fourth mass deportation of Azerbaijani citizens from Germany in 2022.
