Baku. 5 March. REPORT.AZ/ The quota allocated for pilgrimage in Azerbaijan this year has been announced.
First Deputy Chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office Salman Musayev told Report that 2,000 places were allocated for this year.
He noted that the quota was the same last year, and only 1,440 people were issued the final document: "This year there will be a difference in hotels. The price related to the economic situation in Saudi Arabia is different. That is, the price will increase by $ 75".
In other words, the price of Hajj this year amount to $4,225 ($4,150 last year).
Musayev stressed that the reception of the document was launched on February 26 and the process will continue until the end of May: “The visit is scheduled for early August. At present AZAL is discussing exact dates."
