Mubariz Gurbanli: Iranian regime tried to place its people in mosques in Azerbaijan

The Iranian regime tried to place its own people in mosques in Azerbaijan, Mubariz Gurbanli, the chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations, told journalists, Report informs.

According to him, the Religious Committee worked patiently to prevent this:

"The Iranian regime is trying to exert pressure with religious ideology. It wants to spread its state-religion model to Azerbaijan and other neighboring countries. It also conducted campaigns on social networks to carry out this propaganda in Azerbaijan. The Religious Committee has done and is doing extensive work to prevent such situations."
