Greek representative: Islamophobia is a poison seeping through all layers of society

Islamophobia is a poison that infiltrates every layer of society, Anna Stamo, public relations and marketing specialist at the Muslim Association of Greece, said during a panel at the international academic conference "Islamophobia in Focus: Unveiling Bias, Shattering Stigmas" in Baku.

According to Report, Stamo emphasized that Islamophobia is not accidental, but rather a carefully constructed strategy developed over years — and one that must be actively confronted.

Addressing young people, she urged:

"Youth have the power to break these chains. They must also take responsibility for protecting family values. We shouldn’t place the entire burden on governments. Many ideas can be realized through youth-led initiatives."
