Allahshukur Pashazada meets with Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia

The chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Allahshukur Pashazada, who is on a visit to Moscow, met with the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on December 7 at Danilov Monastery, Report informs.

Patriarch Kirill greeted Pashazada and emphasized the importance of the personal meetings: “We regularly meet with you, and I think these meetings should be continued. Such meetings create a favorable atmosphere in relations, positively affect interstate relations, and at the same time, the settlement of the issues that have remained unsolved so far. This format has been going on for more than 30 years. I believe that, especially during conflicts, we should increase our efforts to positively influence the situation in order to achieve real results and change the situation for the better.”

At the end of the meeting, the CMO chairman presented a portrait of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia engraved on the carpet to him.
