Zelenskyy: Russia to be invited to peace summit

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that Russia will be invited to participate in the next Global Peace Summit, scheduled for November 2024.
According to Report, which cites Le Monde, Zelenskyy plans to present his proposals for a peaceful resolution to the conflict during the summit. The Ukrainian president is expected to unveil a detailed plan to end the war.
The first Global Peace Summit took place in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, from June 15-16, where international leaders gathered to discuss ways to promote peace and stability worldwide. Switzerland has been actively working to engage Russia in peace talks regarding Ukraine.
