The Ukrainian army has completely cleared the city of Lyman in the Donetsk Oblast from invaders, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address, Report informs.
“As of 12:30 p.m. (GMT +3), Lyman has been cleared completely. Thanks to our soldiers and fighters! Long live Ukraine!” Zelensky said.
On October 1, the Ukrainian army encircled Lyman and liberated the city. The city had been under Russian occupation since May 26.
