Zelensky comments on shelling of kindergarten by separatists

The shelling of a kindergarten in Stanytsia Luhanska by pro-Russian forces is a big provocation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Twitter, as quoted by Report.

"It's important that diplomats and the OSCE remain in Ukraine, their monitoring activities are an additional deterrent. We need an effective mechanism for recording all ceasefire violations," he said.

The forces of the Russian-backed so-called Luhansk People's Republic shelled a kindergarten in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska in Ukraine's Luhansk region on February 17 morning, injuring two employees of the facility.
