Zas: CSTO peacekeepers have right to use weapons in case of gang attack

The peacekeeping forces of the CSTO in Kazakhstan have the right to use weapons in the event of an attack by armed gangs, Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Stanislav Zas, told Sputnik in an exclusive interview, Report informs.
“Yes, in this case weapons will be used. The military personnel of the collective peacekeeping forces have this right,” he said, answering the question what will happen if armed gangs attack a facility that is being protected by the peacekeeping force.
