Zakharova: US always asks for every penny invested

The US always asks for every penny invested, the head of the US Agency for International Development, Samantha Power's recent visit to Yerevan does not guarantee that Armenia will receive the promised funding, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova told a briefing, Report informs via News.am.

“Recently Samantha Power visited Armenia. She again announced assistance. Question: what of it will be provided? The Americans promised such assistance to many people, particularly to Serbia, but Serbia did not receive anything. Maybe not to the current Armenian authorities, but they will still have to pay because they always ask for every penny invested, and now they have learned to ask for every promised center, even if it was not provided. Who, how much and how will the US be compensated for their care and so-called attention? This is also a good question,” Zakharova noted.
