Plans to quarrel the peoples of the Russian Federation and Armenia would be catastrophic for the latter, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in an interview with TASS on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
Report informs that, according to her, Russia expects that the Armenian leadership has no plans to quarrel the peoples of the two countries.
“I hope that this will not happen. I really hope that no one in the leadership of Armenia has such a goal and task. Because, in my opinion, it would be catastrophic just for Armenia," Zakharova said in response to the question of whether Yerevan can somehow sow discord between the peoples of the two countries.
