Yermak, Sullivan mull aid to Ukraine

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and National Security Advisor to the US President Jake Sullivan have discussed measures to support Kyiv in the winter, Report informs referring to the press service of the president of Ukraine.
“The parties discussed providing Ukraine with support to ensure the passage of the winter period,” reads the statement said. Yermak also thanked his interlocutor for the assistance already rendered to Kyiv.
It was earlier reported that the US authorities will allocate more than $53 million for the purchase of equipment for energy networks for Ukraine. According to the US State Department, the equipment will be delivered to Kyiv on an emergency basis to help Ukrainians survive the winter.
