Yerevan, Moscow to discuss activities of Russian TVs in Armenia

Yerevan and Moscow will discuss the activities of Russian TV channels in Armenia in mid-December, Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Avet Poghosyan told the Armenpress, Report informs via TASS.

“The Ministry of High Tech Industry officially appealed to the Russian side with a request to hold consultations regarding the implementation of agreements reached between the relevant departments of the two countries on cooperation in the field of mass telecommunications. The Russian side accepted the invitation, and consultations are planned for mid-December on the issue of violations of paragraphs 4 and 5 of the interstate agreement in the field of mass telecommunications between Armenia and Russia, as well as on the fulfillment of obligations reached under the agreement,” Poghosyan noted.
