On September 22, the official websites of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi and many government agencies were destroyed due to a hacker attack, Report informs, citing GunAz TV.
The members of the Anonymous group, which attacked the site, wrote on their Twitter page: "We are with the Iranian people in the struggle for justice."
The group recently announced that it would target Iranian government websites in protest of Mahsa Amini's beating to death by Iran's morality police officers.
After the Iranian government imposed restrictions on the internet, the hacker group tweeted:
"Dear Iran, you block the internet. And we will block you."
All subdomains of websites belonging to Tehran municipality were destroyed by hackers called "cyber soldiers of the Iranian people," Mahsa Amini's picture was placed on the main page. In the last two days, many websites of the government, including the Central Bank of Iran, the Ministry of Guidance, the official website of the government, and the website of the spokesperson of the Iranian government, were hacked.
