'We helped evacuate Azerbaijani brothers from Ukraine,' Erdogan says

"We helped evacuate Crimean Tatars, Ahiska Turks, Azerbaijani, Uzbek, and Turkmen brothers from Ukraine," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, Report informs.

According to the Turkish leader, more than 20,000 foreign citizens have arrived from Ukraine to Turkey so far.

"Through the Turkish Red Crescent and the Emergency Management Agency, 23 trucks with aid have been sent to Ukraine. In the coming days, their number will grow to 39," Erdogan said.
