Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has addressed the international community, Report informs.
He demanded that the Western countries should close the skies of Ukraine: "If NATO does not close the skies of Ukraine, Russian missiles will hit the houses of citizens of the member countries. As a result of the shelling of the International Peacekeeping and Security Center, 35 people were killed, and 134 others were injured. NATO borders are just 20 km away."
He recalled his warning to NATO last year: "We said that if NATO does not take tough steps, Russia will start a war. We were right. And now I say that if you do not close the skies of Ukraine, the missiles will target NATO countries. This is a matter of the moment."
The head of state stressed that Ukraine is going through the worst ordeal in its history and believes in victory: "Our delegation has a specific task - to ensure the meeting at the presidential level."
