Uzbekistan to hold presidential elections in October

"Uzbekistan will hold the next presidential election on October 24, 2021," First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Uzbek Parliament Akmal Saidov said, Report informs, citing TASS.
"According to the bill prepared by the Legislative Chamber, the next presidential election in the country will be held on October 24 this year, not on the first Sunday of the third decade of December 2021. The bill prepared by the Legislative Chamber is expected to be approved by the Senate on February 5," he said.
