USAID head: Azerbaijan, Armenia close to signing peace treaty

Azerbaijan and Armenia are close to signing a peace treaty, both countries are making every effort to achieve this, USAID head Samantha Power said at a press conference in Yerevan, Report informs via Armenian media.
Armenia is close to signing a peace treaty that could end years of conflict, she noted. Representatives of the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan continue negotiations aimed at reconciliation, and the US will do everything possible to help Armenia seize this historical moment, she said.
