US Senator Tim Kaine arrives in Kyiv

US Senator Tim Kaine, a Democrat, arrived in in Kyiv Monday, according to the US Embassy in Ukraine, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

Tim Kaine has been a senator from Virginia since 2013. He is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and one of the leading voices in foreign policy.

He has repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian invasion.

In his previous statements, Kaine has emphasized that the security of Europe is critical to US national interests.
