US reiterates support for Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process

Washington is ready to work with Armenia and Azerbaijan in any format that could secure progress for the parties, the US State Department said, Report informs via Armenpress.

“The United States Government supports the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to achieve a sustainable and dignified peace agreement which is of significant importance for a safe and prosperous South Caucasus,” the US State Department told the Voice of America’s Armenian service in response to a query. “We are ready to work with the two parties in any format where both parties can agree on where they can make progress.”
