The United States has hailed the recent border delimitation agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia as a crucial step towards lasting peace in the Caucasus region, James O'Brien, the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, told journalists during his visit to Baku.
According to Report, among the positive steps in the peace process between Baku and Yerevan, O'Brien listed Armenia's support for Azerbaijan's presidency at COP29, the border delimitation agreements and the return of four villages to Azerbaijan.
