US delegation to visit Ukraine in September as part of subsoil agreement

A US delegation will visit Ukraine next month as part of the implementation of the agreement on mineral resources, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksii Sobolev said, Report informs via Ukrainian media.

He noted that a meeting of the joint investment fund for the restoration of Ukraine will also be held in September.

"We are currently developing a list of investment projects that the fund can invest in over the next 12 months. A large delegation from the United States will arrive in September. We hope that the first investments of the fund with the United States will be clear this year," he said.

According to him, the Verkhovna Rada has been presented with bills for consideration to stimulate large investments.

In April of this year, the parties signed an agreement on joint extraction of mineral resources and the creation of an investment fund.
