Ukrainian security forces down Russian plane

Ukrainian security and defense forces shot down a Russian plane, Ukrainian intelligence said, Report informs via RMC-Ukraine.

According to the information, Ukraine attacked the Russian aircraft close to Zmeyny Island in the Black Sea. According to intelligence information, a shootout with an enemy aircraft took place near Snake Island in the territorial waters of Ukraine, in the area called Boyko Towers. Russian planes tried to attack military ships of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine but received a retaliatory strike.

A missile fired from a Ukrainian warship hit a Russian plane, which was forced to leave the scene and fly in the direction of the nearest airfield.
