Ukrainian official: Battles for city of Kherson started

Oleksii Matsulevich, the deputy chairman of the military administration of the Odesa region, announced that the battles for the city of Kherson have begun, the provincial official wrote on his Telegram channel, Report informs.

"Official: battles for the city of Kherson have begun," he wrote.

Earlier the Ukrainian military announced that they broke through the first line of defense of the invaders in the direction of Kherson and at the same time launched an attack in several directions in the south of the country.
