Ukrainian military successful in southeast

Ukrainian defenders achieved success in several directions in the country's southeastern part and also continue the offensive near Bakhmut, said the spokesman of the General Staff Andriy Kovalev, Report informs.

According to him, the offensive operations of the Armed Forces continue in the Melitopol, Berdyansk, and Bakhmut directions. The defenders are entrenched at the reached boundaries, strike with artillery at the enemy's target and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

According to him, the Russian troops are putting up strong resistance, using reserves and suffering heavy losses.
