Ukrainian Defense Ministry: Russian Armed Forces increase pace of offensive operations

The Russian Armed Forces are increasing the pace of the offensive operation, the operational-tactical aviation of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Armed Forces carried out 138 sorties, 38 of which were to destroy objects in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesperson Oleksandr Motuzyanyk said at a briefing in Kyiv, Report informs.

Motuzyanyk noted that the Russian troops conduct intense fire practically in all directions.

“The highest activity of the invaders is observed in the Sloboda and Donetsk directions, where they are preparing additional units to join the hostilities. Missile and airstrikes on military and civilian targets throughout Ukraine do not stop,” he added.

He drew attention to the fact that there is still a threat of continued air and missile strikes against Ukrainian targets from the territory of Belarus.
