Ukrainian city of Bakhmut that is at center of world's attention - REPORTAGE

Russia has concentrated its forces for more than a month and intensified attacks on the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region of Ukraine because there is propaganda that if the city is captured, the war will be decisive for the Russians.

Report's correspondent went to Donbas and visited the city of Bakhmut.

Currently, Bakhmut is under the full control of the Ukrainian army. The units of the Russian army concentrated in the area, together with separatist Donetsk militants, stood 3-4 kilometers away from the city and have not advanced for more than a month.

In the last month, Russia has concentrated its main artillery and infantry brigades in this direction. At the same time, servicemen of the Russian private military company Wagner also took a position here. Despite this, the Russian army, unable to advance in Bakhmut, continues to suffer losses and is subjecting the city, including other Ukrainian settlements, to intensive rocket fire.

Currently, the city residents have taken refuge in the basements.

Due to all this, the city of Bakhmut is currently at the center of the world's attention.
