Ukrainian Armed Forces official: Situation in Zaporizhzhia is complicated

The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction is quite complicated. The Russian army has increased the number of attacks multiple times, Colonel Vladyslav Voloshyn, an official of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' southern district, told Report.

"The Russian army is currently continuing offensive operations. In just the last few days, they have carried out large-scale attacks twice. Infantry groups equipped with armored vehicles and tanks have organized attacks with artillery and drones. However, our forces have repelled these attacks. The enemy has suffered heavy losses. This is approximately 140-150 personnel and more than 30 units of equipment," the colonel emphasized.

According to Voloshyn, there has been no loss of territory: "We predict that the situation will become more tense and the attacks will intensify. Because the forces and means that the enemy has concentrated in this direction are quite significant," he added.
