Belarus's attempt to join the war against Ukraine would be a suicide, said Andriy Yusov, a spokesman for Ukraine's defense intelligence, Report informs via Ukrinform.
Yusov said that the information that Belarus is allegedly preparing for an attack is spreading purposefully: "Such frauds are profitable for Russia. This way, the aggressor country tries to scare Ukrainians."
According to Andriy Yusov, Russia uses information and psychological warfare: "We are not saying there is no danger from the territory of Belarus. There is. Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko helps his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin with weapons and armored vehicles. But in the near future, it is impossible for Belarus to join ground operations directly."
