Ukraine renews anti-record for daily increase in COVID cases

Ukraine has renewed the anti-record for the daily increase in new cases of COVID infection, Healthcare Minister Maksym Stepanov wrote on his Facebook page, Report informs referring to Gazeta.ru.
Over the past day, 20,341 citizens in Ukraine have tested positive for COVID, he wrote.
There are 809 children and 473 medical workers among the newly infected. This is while 5,186 patients were hospitalized and 9,166 people were discharged from hospitals.
At the same time, the number of deaths over the past day has increased by 396.
The biggest number of infection cases was recorded in Kyiv, Lviv and Odesa regions.
