Ukraine recalls its ambassador to Belarus

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry has recalled Ambassador to Belarus Igor Kizim for consultations after the meeting of the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko with the leader of the breakaway "DPR" Denis Pushilin, Report informs referring to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
"The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemns Alexander Lukashenko's meeting on April 18 in Minsk with Denis Pushilin as an attempt to legitimize this representative of the Russian occupation administration in Donetsk," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The ministry considers this meeting to be another unfriendly act on the part of Belarus, which is aimed at supporting the Russian Federation.
