Ukraine opens criminal case against Margarita Simonyan

The Security Service of Ukraine has accused Russian TV presenter Margarita Simonyan of assaulting the country's territorial integrity, Report informs, referring to the security office.
A criminal case was opened against Simonyan. She is charged with several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, including assault on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, propaganda of military actions.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine declared Simonyan a suspect in calling for genocide. The organization accused Simonyan of calling for the mass murder of Ukrainian children, campaigning for the continuation of rocket and bomb attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.
Ukraine accused Simonyan of similar charges in March 2022.
