Zhytomyr Region is strengthening the section of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border that runs through the region to prevent the invasion of enemy troops, Report informs, citing video appeals of Zhytomyr Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlyn.
"We toured the positions of our territorial defense battalions, which are located on the border with Belarus… They have already dug quite well at the border, and we understand that the enemy will not make a second attempt. It will not be possible to enter Ukraine as they entered on February 24. On May 1, we started building concrete blocks along the entire line," Sukhomlin said.
