UK Intelligence says humanitarian situation in Mariupol is worsening

Heavy fighting and Russian airstrikes have continued in the encircled city of Mariupol, Report informs, citing the Twitter page of the British Ministry of Defense.
"The humanitarian situation in the city is worsening. Most of the 160,000 remaining residents have no light, communication, medicine, heat or water. Russian forces have prevented humanitarian access, likely to pressure defenders to surrender," the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, ombudsperson Lyudmila Denisova noted that Russian troops take Ukrainians out to Russia and take away their documents. Nearly 400,000 Ukrainians have been forcedly deported, including from Mariupol.
