UK allocates £200 million to manufacture drones for Ukraine

The UK will allocate £200 million to manufacture various drones for the Ukrainian military, Report informs via foreign media.
In the fiscal year of 2024, the UK will allocate military aid to Ukraine in the amount of £2.5 billion, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said at a press conference with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on January 12.
He noted that of the announced amount, at least £200 million will be used for the purchase and production of thousands of drones, including reconnaissance, attack and maritime drones.
This is the largest drone package that any country has provided to Ukraine, the prime minister said.
