Turkmenistan has sent an official delegation to Iran to negotiate political and economic issues.
Report informs, citing TASS, that, according to the state news agency of Turkmenistan, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the relevant order.
In line with the order, the delegation is sent on a business trip to Tehran "to hold working meetings in important areas of relations established between" Turkmenistan and Iran.
"The head of state signed a decree on the secondment of the government delegation of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Iran on January 8-9, and sent the document to the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs (Rashid Meredov - TASS) on the digital system, addressing the relevant leaders with specific instructions to carry out constructive negotiations on political and economic issues," said the agency.
