Turkiye successfully tests MIDLAS vertical missile launch system

Turkiye has successfully tested domestically produced vertical launch system MIDLAS, said Ismail Demir, the chairman of the Defense Industry Committee of Turkiye, Report informs via Anadolu.

According to him, the launch was carried out by the Turkish-made HISAR surface-to-air missile system.

Demir noted that Turkish specialists have developed air defense systems that can be fired from ships:

"In 2023, the MIDLAS system will be integrated into the Istanbul frigate and put into use by the Turkish Navy."
