Türkiye's new foreign minister creates Twitter account

The newly appointed foreign minister of Türkiye has created an official account @HakanFidan on Twitter, Report informs via Anadolu.

"We will continue to develop the national foreign policy vision through existing old traditions of the Foreign Ministry," Fidan said on Twitter.

Fidan also expressed gratitude to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for appointing him as the foreign minister.

Fidan replaced Mevlut Cavusoglu in this position.

Earlier, Hakan Fidan headed the National Intelligence Organization of Türkiye (MIT).
