Türkiye's Foreign Ministry condemns attack on ship in Malta

Türkiye has condemned the attack on a ship named Conscience belonging to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition in international waters off the coast of Malta, Spokesperson of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Oncü Keceli, said, Report informs via Haberturk.
The spokesman noted that Turkish citizens were also on board the ship at the time of the attack.
"It has been determined that the crew and passengers on the ship are in good health. Necessary work is being carried out in cooperation with the Maltese authorities to evacuate our citizens to a safe place. We strongly condemn this attack that threatens freedom of movement in international waters and maritime security," Keceli mentioned.
He also highlighted that there are claims that the ship was targeted by Israeli drones: "All necessary efforts will be made to uncover the details of the attack as soon as possible and to hold those responsible accountable."
