Türkiye observes surge in forest fires countrywide

Forest fires in Türkiye this year have increased compared to last year, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli said during his speech in Rize province, Report informs.

Despite this rise, Yumakli highlighted Türkiye’s improved success in extinguishing fires: “We have sufficient personnel and equipment. We even send aid to countries that request help. For instance, we sent aid to Greece yesterday.”
