Türkiye does not rule out sending a peacekeeping contingent to Ukraine, Spokesperson of the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, Zeki Akturk, at a weekly briefing, Report informs.
"Türkiye is a country that creates peace and stability in its region and tries to contribute to all initiatives in this regard. However, first a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine should be established, followed by determining the mandate and how much each country can contribute to the process. It would not be right to make assessments based on forecasts that have not yet been concretized," the spokesperson said.
