Türkiye detains 153 suspected ISIS members

Türkiye has detained 153 people suspected of being ISIS members over the past two weeks, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on X, Report informs.
According to Yerlikaya, the suspects were detained in 28 provinces of the country, including major cities such as Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, and Bursa, as part of a large-scale anti-terrorism operation.
"Those detained are suspected of participating in ISIS activities, financing fake humanitarian organizations associated with it, and spreading terrorist propaganda on social networks," Yerlikaya noted.
