Türkiye denies reports of wave of migration from Iran

Reports of a wave of migration from Iran to Türkiye are misinformation, the Center for Combating Disinformation, operating under the Communications Directorate of the Turkish administration said, according to Report.

The statement also includes information from the Ministry of Interior confirming that there is no gathering of people, emergency dynamics, or cases of illegal migration at the Türkiye-Iran border.

"Moreover, our borders are monitored around the clock by our units using physical security systems equipped with the most advanced technologies," the statement reads.

Attempts to breach the border are immediately suppressed: "We urge citizens not to believe such misinformation and to rely only on official information from authorized bodies."
