Turkiye demanded that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Kurdish alliance withdraw its formations from Tell Rifaat, Manbij and Ain al-Arab (Kobani), located in the province of Aleppo, Turkish officials said, Report informs via TASS, Al Jazeera.

According to Al Jazeera’s sources, Turkiye has set a deadline for the Kurdish formations to leave Tell Rifaat, Manbij and Ain al-Arab (Kobani), and agreed to the return of institutions controlled by the Syrian government to these cities.

Since November 20, the Turkish Air Force and artillery have been attacking the territory controlled by the SDF in the north of the provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa and Hasakah. Turkish forces and Syrian opposition forces have fired at least 800 shells at the settlements there over the past few days, according to the SDF report. On November 23, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced plans to conduct a ground operation in several areas in northern Syria simultaneously, including Tell Rifaat, Manbij and Ain al-Arab (Kobani).
