Turkish, Uzbek presidents meet

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is visiting Uzbekistan, met with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Report informs, citing the Presidential Administration of Turkiye.

At the invitation of Mirziyoyev, Erdogan will participate in the 9th Summit of Turkic State Organizations organized under the theme New Era of Turkic Civilization: Towards Common Development and Prosperity.

Important decisions regarding the organization's 20-year road map will be made at the summit, and the chairmanship will pass from Turkiye to Uzbekistan.
