Turkish secret services eliminate Istanbul terror attack organizer

The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has conducted a successful operation in northern Syria to eliminate the YPG terrorist (Syrian wing of the PKK) Halil Menci, who planned and took an active part in organizing the terror attack on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

According to the Turkish intelligence services, Menci instructed two perpetrators of the attack - Ahlam Albashir Saleh and Bilal Hassan, and the latter managed to escape abroad with his help.

After the attack, the leaders of the YPG tried to protect the organizer of the attack, who crossed the border, fleeing to Syria.

Six people became victims of the explosion on November 13, 2022, in the Istanbul district of Taksim, 81 were injured.
