Turkish president: UN needs serious reforms

The United Nations (UN) needs serious reforms, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said in his video address to the event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the UN, Report informs via Haberturk.
Erdogan stated that serious reforms are inevitable for the UN to continue fulfilling its obligations: "It is important to strengthen the UN in order to re-establish international peace, prosperity, mutual trust and solidarity. It is everyone's duty to ensure that the UN becomes an institution that represents international justice."
The president added that Türkiye will play an active role in increasing the effectiveness of the UN.
