Turkish President: There is no ISIS in Syria

Baku. 27 November. REPORT.AZ/ "There is no ISIS in Syria," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

Report informs that he spoke at an expanded meeting of the parliamentary faction of the Justice and Development Party (AKP).

According to him, there are terrorist groups in Syria: "Everyone has their own interests in Syria. We have come to protect the territorial integrity of Turkey and have made a risk. We hit a blow to this terrorist group. We have blown the 'ISIS balloon' in our region. We managed to overcome one of the biggest problems facing Islam. After Turkey appeared on the scene, it became clear what project ISIS, continously exaggerated to scare off the world, is. Now there is no ISIS in Syria. There are just a few small groups under its image. As Turkey, we promise to completely eliminate the remains of this grouping within a few months”.

The Turkish President emphasized that there are countries struggling to provide more oil-related interests in the region and that they are linked to PKK terror grouping in Syria.
